Tan Stands For...
TAN BELIEVES IN THE AMERICAN DREAM.
What is the American Dream to Tan? It is escaping an oppressive regime with his family, on a small boat, when he was about 7 years old… stranded at sea for days without knowing if you’re going to live or die… arriving at a refugee camp and waited for months before allowing to enter the U.S… struggled to learn English and assimilate… became the first in the family (only the second in many generations) to attend college… appreciated every single opportunity that came his way… and now fighting for the chance to proudly represent the people of District 47 in Washington.

Tan believes that we should do whatever it takes to keep American jobs in America. A 10% unemployment rate, nationwide, is unacceptable. We can start creating more jobs by giving No Interest to Low Interest loans to new businesses and businesses looking to expand. The government can encourage investments by not taxing new businesses for the first 5 years. Tan also believes that regular folks deserve at least a one year tax holiday, since Wall Street got a massive bailout.
Tan believes in upholding our immigration laws. He opposes anything that encourages illegal immigration.
Tan believes that "our border security is a joke." Each day 10,000 individuals enter our country illegally by simply walking across our borders. It's just a matter of time before terrorists enter our country through these same roads.
Tan is for the re-importation of medicines and any other measure that will help our seniors live a life of dignity.
Tan believes that no one should have to choose between the "lesser of two evils".
Tan is against all forms of corruption, especially Sanchez-Style corruption.
